Congratulations to Will Szczerbiak on his recent promotion to Partner. Will started at Greycroft as a summer intern in 2014 while getting his MBA at Columbia University and joined the firm as a senior associate in our New York office in May 2015. By the end of 2015, just six months into the job, Will had sourced and closed two deals – Vettery, a talent marketplace for technology and business roles, and MapAnything, the leader in geo-productivity software for enterprises. Both had profitable exits, with Vettery sold to Adecco Group in 2018 and MapAnything sold to Salesforce in 2019.
Will has built strong investment theses around three primary verticals: enterprise software, fintech, and SaaS-enabled marketplaces and oversees the firm’s investments in Amplion, Emerge, Enboarder, Flutterwave, Immuta, Palmetto, Pryon, Red Balloon Security, and YieldStreet.
Congratulations to Brentt Baltimore on his recent promotion to Principal. Brentt joined Greycroft as a summer intern in the New York office and is now based in our Los Angeles office. Brentt led Greycroft’s investments in Craft, Mapped, and Smrt, and helped lead our investments in Botkeeper and Openpath. He is focused on investing in innovative companies in the enterprise software space, and particularly excited about investment opportunities in security, data interoperability/automation, and micro SaaS.
Brentt has been spearheading Greycroft’s initiative to further integrate data science and machine learning into our investment process, and he’s involved in several important industry initiatives, including the Kauffman Fellows Program and co-leading BLCK VC initiatives in Los Angeles.
Alan Patricof, Greycroft Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Launches Primetime Partners
Congratulations to our Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus Alan Patricof on launching Primetime Partners with Co-Founder Abby Levy. Primetime Partners is an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in companies that can transform the quality of living for older adults.
With so many years at the leading edge of venture capital, we can’t think of anyone better than Alan to support the growth of the under-served, trillion-dollar global sector of Aging.
Thank you, Alan, for helping build Greycroft into an industry-leading venture capital firm. We look forward to your continued support as Chairman Emeritus of Greycroft, and we are excited to see what you achieve through Primetime Partners.
