As an EIR at Greycroft, Jason is focused on building the next big thing in Los Angeles and being a conduit to the entrepreneurial community. In addition, Jason evaluates investment opportunities related to his prior operating experience and helps oversee the firm’s investments in Nativo, When I Work, Koding, Joyent, Alphadraft, Sensay, and Kaleo.
Prior to joining Greycroft, Jason was Director of New Media at MLB Advanced Media (MLB.com) leading the strategy and product development around user-generated content, social media, and communications for MLB.com and each of the 30 team sites. As a representative of MLB Advanced Media, Jason has been an invited speaker at conferences around the world covering the intersection of new media trends and sports. Before working at MLB.com, Jason began his career as a business consultant in the retail technology practice of Kurt Salmon guiding clients such as Kenneth Cole, Macy’s, and Aeon.
Jason graduated from the University of Virginia where he was an Echols Scholar with degrees in Economics, Cognitive Science, and a Specialization in Computer Science. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where his focus was on tech entrepreneurship and disruption in business.
