Based in Shanghai, Marshall Nu is Chief Operating Officer of Anschutz Entertainment Group’s Asia operations (AEG), and responsible for strategy, business development, finance and operations in the region. As a Venture Partner with Greycroft, he helps source and evaluate early-stage opportunities, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to AEG, Marshall was Chief Operating Officer of App Annie, the global leader in mobile app measurement and analytics. As one of the company’s initial founding team based in both Beijing and San Francisco, he oversaw international expansion over a five-and-a-half-year period, growing the company from 10 people to 500+ employees across 12 global offices and raising over US$150M of capital from top-tier investors including Greycroft and eVentures.
Before making the leap into startups, Marshall was a private equity associate at Shamrock Capital Advisors, a leading media, entertainment and communications firm based in Los Angeles with over US$2 billion under management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Computing from UCLA and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
